LANG 101 Introduction to Sarcasm

Students will learn the basic structure and acceptable use of sarcasm in daily conversation. This class touches on sarcasm only within the English Language.

Course Description

Prof Mike has the following tips for aspiring sassy students:

  • Students who actively attend class
  • Have sass and or attitude
  • Have a healthy dose of reality
  • Have a thick skin

Prof Mike has the following comments about the syllabus: "Lessons on the following: Intonation of voice, Timing of responses, Eye contact during comments, Ability to remain serious."

Prof Mike's final exam involves outsassing Prof Mike, Prof Zac, Prof Mentley, and Prof Dan at the same time while discussing the question, "What is a board game?"

Prof Mike presents the following qualifications for this course: "I am fluent in Sarcasm, Cynicism, Pessimism, Realism, Prisms, and Body Language."

Students will be graded on the following criteria: grades subjective and is at Prof Mike's discretion.
