FISH 102 Introduction to Screen Printing

Students will see industry professionals performing their craft and understand what goes into the creation of a screen printed shirt. Students will also read text from a professional.

Course Description

Prof Dan has the following tips for aspiring screenprinters:

  • Read the 'mini-text book'
  • Watch the videos
  • Research the process of screenprinting on Google if further clarification is needed

Prof Dan has the following comments about the syllabus: "If you stay awake and keep your head from bouncing off your desk, you'll pass. This is just an introductory course, after all."

The final exam involves creating a tshirt design.

Prof Dan presents the following qualifications for this course: "I screen printed shirts professionally on a 4 color press for my old business, CHOU! LLC of Wisconsin. I fulfilled orders up to 300 tshirts. I am familiar with oil based inks and water based ones."

Students will be graded on the following criteria: Complete the required readings and videos and pass.
