AGRI 101 Study of Video Game Plant Life

Students will demonstrate the ability to grow and use combative plants in a defensive manner for their home against aggressors. Students will also learn how to use fungus, aquatic plants, and manipulate sunlight to be increasingly successful.

Course Description

Prof James has the following tips for aspiring mad botanists:

  • Must not be tasty to plants
  • Not being tasty to zombies also preferred
  • Talking to plants will help moral
  • Being afraid of zombies could pose difficulty in the course

Required Materials
Each student is to play the game Plants vs. Zombies. The demo is free and can be quickly tried online here: http://www.popcap.com/games/plants-vs-zombies/online

Prof James' final exam involves defeating Dr. Zomboss in the game Plants vs. Zombies.

Prof James presents the following qualifications for this course: "I have extensive experience in both video game theory as well as a background in mutagenic research. I hope to combine these into a working experience that will be second to none in creating a plant far better than what has been done before."

Students will be graded on the following criteria: how many days can you defend your house from zombies.
