POKEMON
THE ADVENTURES OF ASH, MISTY, AND BROCK
In our last chapter, Misty and Brock both earned badges.  Actually only
Brock earned the badge because Misty stole hers, and a handful of extras!
Ash met up with the two and they discovered that all three of them were
wanted by the police.  So in a desperate attempt to hide from the police, until
tomorrow morning, they are staying in a back alley hotel that makes them
wish they were in a jail cell.
The three travelers walked into the dump around 11 PM that night, so they
were afraid that there might mot be any available rooms left.  It just so
happened that every room was empty, so they choose the best that the
garbage pile could offer.  Ash unlocked the door and they walked in.  The
room was dark except for one lamp on the left side of the room with a night
stand under it.  On top of the night stand was a glass.  They questioned the
cleanness of the cup.  Also on the left side were two beds.  On the right side
was a t.v. table, but the t.v. wasn’t there.  All that was there was the remote.
On the far left side was the bathroom.  They began to unpack their night close
and Misty was going to be the first to change in the bathroom.  Just then, a
roach crawled across the floor and on top of Misty’s foot.
“Ahhh!  Get it away from me!”  She jumped on the bed and threw the covers
over her.
“Whoa,”said Brock.“Those roaches are the size of rats.”  Misty started to
rustle in her bed and she threw the covers off her.  The bed was full of
roaches and they were crawling all over her.  She did a somersault off the
bed, grabbing her pajamas, too, and jumped into the bathroom making a
scream that shattered the glass on the night table.
“Oh man!  Come on Ash.  Let’s take out these buggers before Misty gets
back out our she’ll shatter our ears next!”  So Ash and Brock both started to
jump on and squish as many of the roaches that they could get while Pikachu
jumped on the t.v. table and rolled into a ball.  Guts were flying every were
but definite progress was showing as less and less roaches came out from
under the bed.  Eventually they stopped appearing and they shook the covers
of the bed to get rid of all the left-over roaches that were hiding.  After Brock
and Ash had a good breather, Misty came out in her pajamas and wet hair.
She poked the bed to see if it still squirmed.  It was fine, so she jumped in the
bed and wrapped herself in the blankets.  After Ash changed, Brock changed,
too.  They went to bed with Misty in one bed and Brock and Ash in the other.
Pikachu slept on the floor.  They slept the whole night without a sound.
Early the next morning, Brock woke up and awakened up the three sleepy
heads.  They got dressed and went to the office to pay their bill.  After the
walk through the back alley, and entering the main street, they decided to take
the newly built bridge from Cinnabar Island to Pallet town.  They walked
down the street until they reached the bridge.  There was one problem,
though, the bridge was closed off to out-going traffic for repairs, so they were
stuck on the island.  Even worse was that the road block was made up of
police cars.  They started to walk back down the street when the police cars
behind them turned on their sirens and headed their way!
“Come on!  They saw us!  Run for your lives!”  Misty stopped talking and
ran at the speed of a Rapidash.  Ash and Brock followed and they turned a
street corner to evade the police.  They thought they lost them, but they also
turned the corner also.  Ash jumped down on the floor and put his hands over
his head ready for arrest.  The police cars stopped aside them and the police
got out drawing their guns.
  “Freeze, you robbing scum!”
“Yea.  Give yourself up,”said another officer.
“All right!”  Ash couldn’t live the lie any longer and he got up and handed
him self over to the police.
“Get out of our way, kid!  This bank robbery is no place for children!”  Ash
was stunned and he realized that they hadn’t seen the posters yet.  So the
three got up and calmly walked down the street like it had never happened.
They continued to walk until they reached the docks that brought them
there.  They looked around until they found a cheap looking ship.  They had
no money left because they spend it all on the crummy hotel.  They climbed
aboard the small, green, falling apart ship.  They found the captain and asked
how much it was to sail to Fushai.   He was a bit bulky and not much taller
then Brock.
“Hey, it would be $25.  I assure you that you won’t find a cheaper ship at
this time of year.”
“What kind of year is it, exactly?”  Misty didn’t know of any celebrations
going on.
“What?  You don’t know?  It’s Pokemon Celebration Day in Fushai!  Thats
why all the ships to Fushai cost so much.”
“All right.  Let’s just get out of this town.”  Misty wouldn’t stand for being a
wanted crimanal for another day.
So now the wanted four are traveling on a old boat, and washing dishes,
cleaning clothes, and making meals.  That was the only way they could pay
the $25.  Will they run into another pirate adventure?  Will they get to
Fushai?  Will they be wanted in Fushai, too?  If not, then will they have a fun
time at the Pokemon Celebration?  Catch all the fun and celebration on the
next parade packed adventure of Pokemon!
