| POKEMON THE ADVENTURES OF ASH, MISTY, BROCK AND ERIKA In the last chapter of Pokemon, Ash, Misty, Brock, and Erika decided it would be a good idea to go see that girl that they had met back at Silph Co. So they headed to the Saffron Gym where the girl said that she would be. When they got there, Misty got in over her head in a pokemon match when a suitable trainer challenged her with a Haunter. It later evolved into a much stronger, unknown pokemon. “Gengar!” “Your right, Ash. It’s the worst ghost pokemon that exits today. It’s psychic abilities even exceed that of Alakazam. The ghostly body makes it immune to physical attacks. That way only another psychic pokemon can defeat him.” “Good, so since I got Psyduck, I at least have a bit of a chance. Well I’m off to finish the battle.” Misty then returned to the fighting area and faced Pepper with an evil eye. At that time, unknown to any of them, Jessie and James were spying on them. They had arrived moments earlier and watched the battle unfold. Their true plans were to steal a psychic pokemon from the world renowned gym. The best psychics come from here. Now that Team Rocket had been stopped, Jessie and James were the only ones left. They were supposed to be at the headquarters that day, but were out for a pizza and totally avoided the crushing defeat. On finding out that everyone else had been captured and put in jail, they quickly took the pleasure of running Team Rocket all by themselves. They now develop their own technology and devise their own plans. So now they will probably fail twice as much. “Wow, look at that Gengar. He looks worthy of us.” “Yea, Jesse, we should capture it using our new, awesome, pokemon catching flute.” “Mm, hmm,” they say together. They start to watch Misty battle Pepper again. “You’re going down Pepper!” “In you’re dreams loser!” “What? You’re the loser....pickle!” “Come on girls, this isn’t a screaming contest this is a pokemon battle!” screams Ash. Pepper says, “He’s right, let’s get this show on the road!” “Gengar, quick use night shade!” Gengar uses night shade on Psyduck. “Psy, y, y.” “Psyduck quick, um, anything!” “Psy. Psy. Psy??” “To protect the world from devastation, to unite all people within our nation, to denounce the evil, the truth, the love, to extend our reach to the stars above, Jessie, James, Team Rocket blasts of at the speed of light, surrender now or prepare to fight! Meowth, that’s right!” “Hand over your Gengar, little girl.” “No way, get your own!” “Well, knowing Jessie she too lazy to-” “Be quiet you person you!” Jessie yells at James as she stomps on him. “If you won’t give Gengar to us, then watch in horror as your Gengar surrenders to us helplessly. Ha, ha, ha!” “Never!” cries Pepper. James takes a beat up flute out of his pocket and starts to play it. As he plays the flute a very strange tune pops out of it, and Gengar waltzes over to Team Rocket like a zombie. “Gengar, come back!” says Pepper as she runs over to Gengar and attempts to pick him up. But before she even touches it, Gengar spins around and slashes Pepper viciously on her leg. “Ahh! My leg! Gengar, snap out of it!” she says as she clutches her leg. “That’s it Gengar, come here,” says Jesse soothingly as she opens a bag for it to climb in. “Gengar, no. Stop, please. Please stop, please.” says Pepper as she sobs miserably. “That’s it! I can’t see her like this any more! Farfetch’d go!” cries a unknown man from the crowd. From out of the pokeball pops out a plain looking bird with a stick clutched in its beak. “Quick Farfetch’d, use slash on those miserable people!” shouts the man. “Ha, ha, ha, ha! Look at that weakling, James. You’re hopeless little man!” All of a sudden Farfetch’d flies quickly in front of Team Rocket and slashes them all! “Ahhhhhhhh! My beautiful face! How dare you!” cries Jesse clutching her face and dropping the bag. “The pain, the pain!” cries Mouth and James. “Farfetch’d quick! Use whirlwind now, while they’re still down!” Farfetch’d uses whirlwind and Team Rocket fly into the never-ending sky. “Looks like Team Rocket’s blasting off agaaaaaiiiinnnn!!!” “Gengar! Are you o.k.?” Pepper runs over to the bag containing Gengar and takes it out of the bag. “Oh Gengar! I missed you so much!” She hugs Gengar tightly, and it looks down at her leg with sad and guilty eyes. “Don’t be sad, it’s not your fault, Gengar.” “Pepper are you all right?” Pepper gasps and turns around, “Father?” “Yes Pepper. My, look how much you’ve grown since you left the house. How have you been lately?” “Uh, great.” “Well then, I better be on my way. Just needed to make sure you were o.k.” “Wait! Father.... thanks.” Her father tips his hat and disappears in the crowd. “Come on guys let’s go talk to that Alice girl, this place is starting to creep me out.” says Erika so they walk over to the attention-lacking Alice. “Hey,‘home girl’, how you doing in the ‘hood’? I’m not exactly sure what kind of ‘hip’ words you kids use these days but I guess I’m pretty close, ay?” Brock holds his head high and nods in pride. Everybody gives Brock a bad look, and pretends like that never happened. “What a gravy bowl,” Misty says under her breath. “Well, o.k..... Any ways, excuse me, but I got to go to the...” Ash was quickly cut off by Alice. “Wait! Before you say anymore, let me tell you of a premonition of mine before I forget. It was a dream I had five nights ago......” “It all started as the landscape of the world was outlined before my eyes. I saw every part of the earth in it’s full peacefulness and beauty. Suddenly a large boom, followed by a flash of red light, covered it all. Then in a split of a second, the entire world changed before me. I saw nothing but the destruction that is sure to be, unfortunately, the future of our world. This is what I believe now because of what was revealed to me next. Through the fire and ashes I saw a light which began to fight the darkness. The forces of evil brought themselves to arm and began a battle that lasted many years. The war was a vague blur to my eyes. I could see that evil had won many battles, yet good had won the war. Over all the clouds of darkness, all the ruins of destruction, all the innocent casualties of battle, one light appeared. It was a solitary child holding it’s hand high in the air. In the hand was a single electric spark. It began to pulsate and grow larger. It grew over the land and swallowed all evil. The darkness became light, and the sinful blood became the fresh water. Peace returned, and the powerful being had vanquished all the evil that had so long ruled. That being, I believe, is the prodigy of our time. The next in line for the title of Pokemon Master.” “Mm.. oh.. jeese! Look at the time! It looks like I have a meeting right now! And you know what? It’s in the restroom! So please excuse me for a long extended period of time!” Ash yells this as he hops to the restroom frantically. “Wow Alice, can you really see into the future through your amazing dreams?” asks Misty in a admiring kind of way. “Yea, I can. But only sometimes.” “Your very gifted. I wish I had those gifted powers. Well, any ways, who do you think was that in the dream. Me or Ash?” “Well, actually, I’m not quite sure. I mean the only clues are hard to understand.” A few minutes later Ash comes back from the restroom and says to Alice, “So, Alice, truly be honest, who do who you think is the prodigy? Me or Misty?” He says that right in front of Misty’s face, and secretly slips Alice a buck. “Ash! Bribery is not an option.” yells Alice, after thinking about it first, of course! “Bribery! What the kiwi are you trying to pull here, Ash? You know very well that I was the person in her dream! Don’t waste your breath!” “What do you mean?! You in her dream? You mean me in her dream! Remember that electric spark? That was Pikachu!” “Peoples, peoples, brake it up! I mean look at yourselves. What happened to the two little lovebirds I used to know?” says Erika as she starts to creep away to avoid flying objects. “She’s right, Ash, this is pointless. Let’s stop this right nowwwwwait a minute! Did she call us lovebirds? ERIKA!!!!!!!!!” “Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!” Erika shrieks as Misty chases her around the building. Then Alice catches them and makes an announcement. “O.k. Ash and Misty. I’m not sure which one of you is better but I think I know a way to find out. Follow me.” Alice then directs them outside. They walk to the side of the gym, where no one can see, and Alice points out to the woods. “Over in that direction, there is a gym. It is filled with electric-type pokemon trainers. The gym leader has a very powerful Raichu. I also believe he may be the person from my dream. If one of you can defeat him, I may eliminate him as the possible pokemon master. If you lose, the same thing will happen to you. How do I know of this remote, hidden gym, you ask? It is because I also belong to that gym. Yes, I know that only electrical trainers are allowed, but I too have an electric pokemon. I have an Electabuzz. It may only be one electric in a sea of psychic pokemon that I train, but Electabuzz is so rare, that I was admitted for the fact that the gym would have an Electabuzz trainer, which is a great way to show the power and worth of a gym. No other psychic trainer knows of this place to my knowledge. And they must continue not to know. If you were to tell someone else of the gym, it is not my responsibility to the consequences you may receive. Psychic trainers are the electric gym’s enemies. I don’t know why, but you could ask the leader when we get there. We can’t go today for the reason that the gym is closed, but I am sure that it is open tomorrow. Meet me here at two o’clock in the afternoon and we shall go.” “Oh well. I guess the gym isn’t open for whippen from Ash Ketchum today, so we’ll come back tomorrow at two, right?” “Yes, at two in the afternoon. Don’t forget! It may look suspicious for me to be standing here at the side of the gym by myself.” “Sure, sure. All right then, let’s get to a hotel, huh? It’s getting dark. Come on, kids. Let’s get some shut eye.” Brock checked with Alice and heard there was a good hotel downtown, so they called a taxi and travel to the hotel. “Wow! Talk about luxurious! King size beds, kitchen, whirlpool, room service, and mini-refrigerator with the finest cheeses and grape juice!” cries Misty. “Did you say room service? Out of my way, I’m starved!” says Brock. Brock orders room service and they all have a very fulfilling dinner. “I’m stuffed. I haven’t eaten that good in months.” says Ash. “I’m tired guys. I’m going to bed.” Brock hops into one of the king size beds and falls to sleep in a second. “Yeah me too. I’m going to bed, too.” says Erika as she yawns her way into bed. “Well, unlike you I’m responsible. I’m training my pokemon for tomorrow.” says Misty as she takes out all her pokemon and makes them all do jumping jacks. “That’s it Starmie, use those legs. Psyduck! Actually try to move!” “I’m going to sleep now, Misty.” “Yeah, yeah, whatever, I know I’m the most beautiful girl in the universe, Ash.” says Misty as she dozes off on the floor. All her pokemon run to the mini-refrigerator and pig-out. “Huh? Oh, she’s sleeping. What’s that supposed to mean any way?” says Ash as he climbs into the same bed that Brock’s in. Soon they are all fast asleep with visions of pokeballs dancing in their head. So, a lot of things happened in this chapter. Pepper was unable to defeat Psyduck, but was saved by her father and his Farfetch’d. Will Farfetch’d play any more parts in this amazing story? Later, more of the prodigy legend began to unfold. Who really is the master? And what about the secret gym? Can they really trust Alice to lead them to safety, or doom? Read it all in the next astonishing chapter of Pokemon! |
